Springs/Macarthur Road Roundabout

With urban residential development recently undertaken in their local area, Camden Council has continued with the upgrade of the remaining section of Springs Road and Macarthur Road. This included the construction of a roundabout on the intersection of the two roads to cater for increased vehicular traffic and provide a safer road configuration for motorists and pedestrians.

Statewide Civil is proud to have been awarded the contract for the construction stage of this project. 

The works primarily involved:

  • Demolition & disposal of existing concrete kerbs, stormwater pipes and pits

  • Relocation of existing watermain

  • Upgraded stormwater drainage in Macarthur Rd

  • Road improvement including roundabout construction

  • Concrete medians and paths

  • Landscaping
