Pioneer Memorial Park

Location: Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park - Reid Ave, Matraville

Statewide Civil were proud to have been affiliated with another project for Metropolitan Cemeteries NSW. The Pioneer Park project aimed to utilise a previously undeveloped area of the Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park to provide an additional 705 burial plots.

The works included:

  • Construction of kerbs and road pavement

  • Removal of existing turfed area including topsoil and fill material

  • Removal of sandstone and reinstate milled material for future grave lots

  • Installation of monument beams including piers

  • Construction of concrete footpath, hearse area and parking bays

  • Installation of stormwater drainage

  • Diversion of existing water main

  • Turfing and maintenance.
